On 18Jul07 a panel of three officers and six enlisted members returned a guilty verdict against Cpl Trent D. Thomas for kidnapping and conspiracy to commit murder for his actions in Hamdania, Iraq. He was acquitted of unpremeditated murder, false official statement, larceny, and housebreaking. He will be sentenced by the same panel.
Two other Marines await trial for their actions connected to this case.
