Members – military equivalent of jury – are being selected for the court-martial of Sgt Lawrence G. Hutchins III. Sgt Hutchins is charged with murder, kidnapping, larceny, assault, housebreaking, conspiracy, and making a false official statement. All of these charges stem from is involvement in the murder of a man in the town of Hamdania, Iraq.
Last week, another Marine, Cpl Trent D. Thomas, was sentenced for his involvement in the murder and kidnapping in Hamdania.
