Smith & Wesson Commemorates D.C. Gun Case: Free Guns

Recently the Supreme Court of the United States handed down its decision in the image case of District of Columbia v. Heller.  The case involved a challenge to Washington, D.C.’s ban on handguns, brought by policeman who was denied a permit to keep a handgun in his home.  The Court held,

The Second Amendment protects an individual right to possess a
firearm unconnected with service in a militia, and to use that arm for
traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home.

To mark this historic ruling, Smith&Wesson, has issued,

a commemorative revolver designed to recognize the historical significance of the District of Columbia vs. Heller

decision and to acknowledge the six original plaintiffs that united to challenge the gun ban in Washington, D.C.

As part of the project, an engraved Smith & Wesson Model 442 revolver will be presented to each of the six plaintiffs – Shelly Parker, Tom Palmer, Gillian St. Lawrence, Tracey Ambeau, George Lyon and Dick Heller – for their key roles in working to protect the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms. Smith & Wesson will make the commemorative revolver available for consumer purchase in Fall 2008 and will direct a portion of the proceeds to the Second Amendment Foundation to acknowledge the organization’s pivotal role in the Heller case and its ongoing efforts to preserve the Second Amendment rights of U.S. citizens

So if you were not one of the six plaintiffs, you will have to buy your own.

I may attack state court process that lead to US v Campbell
Since I am blind, being able to read case law might be a good thing at this time.

I proved my point, not sure if I want to file the appeal now, if I win that will be a cert , why 5000.00 such orders per day in all states . One thousand per day in the Cal courts all attach guns without any proof of harm

Federal court Judge Shubb Sac court, I understand those judges are running an assembly line US V Campbell CR S 03- -0483 wbs gg hp
