USC Football: Preview No. 1 Trojans face No. 14 Huskers

ESPN College GameDay will feature the USC Nebraska game. Though, Lou Holtz will be talking about the ND Michigan Suck Bowl.

1 USC Trojans play the No. 14 Nebraska Cornhuskers Saturday at Memorial Stadium at 5 p.m PST. With wins in 60 of their last 66 games, the Trojans are the most dominantprogram since the Huskers of the mid-1990s won 60 of 63 games and shared or won three championships outright. The Cornhuskers are seeking to regain their place among the elite of college football. The last time the Huskers came to Troy, they lost 28-10.

Sam Keller will be starting for the Huskers. The last time Keller faced the Men of Troy, he had a 21-3 lead at halftime when he was playing for Arizona State. The Trojans rallied to win 38-28.

Chauncey Washington has been cleared to play after spraining his shoulder in the game against Idaho. While it’s unclear whether
Washington will start. Washington is competing with C.J. Gable and Stafon Johnson for carries Saturday. Gable started the season opener, but Johnson received the most carries. Joe McKnight is also contending for playing time in the backfield. McKnight will also return punts.

Linebacker Brian Cushing is still recovering from the sprained ankle he suffered against Idaho.

Prediction:

USC – 31

Nebraska – 17
