At the end of National Signing Day 2009, USC finishes the day ranked No. 3 by rivals.com. The Trojans finished just behind Alabama and LSU. SC had the 2nd highest average recruit ranking with a 3.9, bested only by Florida with a 3.94.
The Trojans did lose out to Notre Dame when Manti Te’o became a Domer.
The Men of Troy did land the No. 1 quarterback Matt Barkley.
